Spring 2012 Assignment 10 - Putting it All Together

 

In this assignment you will put it all together. This assignment gives only specifications, you will need to complete your design and create a working interface. You can use all materials from past assignments. You can do this as a solo or a 2 person project working with a partner.

 

1. You will be create a full interface for a registration system.

2. A student will login to the system - your choice of how they login, but I recommend username password

3. After logging in they will enter a registration page.

4. On this page they can show all available classes for the current semester by prefix. You will only allow registration for a current active semester.

5. The student can either enter the course they want to register for, or you can have them select it from a menu (your design here)

6. The registration should check to see if the student has met pre-requisites - meaning you will need to keep track of the courses students have completed.

 

Once they successfully register the system should show them their schedule.

 

That is it. This is a design project. This assignment is worth double.

 

You will turn in one paper on the design just like other assignments.

Once complete - create a short (< 2min) video of how your system works walking through a student registering. You will want to use a screen capture software for this.
